Commander Dr. Tommy O participated in the New York Guard's 2007 annual training by performing physicals and providing a First Aid education course.

On August 25th, 2007, Dr. Tommy O participated in Church Alive Community Church's Child Safety / Back to school community outreach. More then 100 children and family members participated. Bishop Dr. Timothy Birkett and Dr. Tommy O would like to thank the New York Yankees for providing Yankee tickets and Affinity Health Plan for food and back to school supplies for our communities youth.

On September 13, 2007, Dr. Tommy O, Idania Lopez Mercardo, CEO of ILM and Miriam Gonzalez, Esq., along with the New York City Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, celebrated David Diaz's induction into the Hispanic Heritage Baseball Museum Hall of Fame.

Dr. Tommy O and United States Amatuer Boxing Association participated in the 2007 Junior Metro Boxing Championship. Fourteen well matched bouts were slated for the night. Boxers ranging from juniors, with a few bouts under their belt, to seniors, who are ranked as high as sixth in the nation brought boxing fans to their feet with non-stop action. The Metro Boxing Association and Dr. Tommy O would like to thank MSG Network for their sponsorship. A special thanks to Aviator Sports and Recreation Complex for Hosting the 2007 Junior Championship.

On Friday, September 21, 2007, Dr. Tommy O was recognized by United Bronx Parents Inc. for his health education programs.
