Over the past three years, Dr. Tommy O and the Skate Key have teamed up on numerous occasions to provide the surrounding community with outreach and educational activities. Unfortunately, after 25 years of being an integral and beneficial part of the community in which he operates, Ron Latizia, owner, was forced to close the Skate Key’s doors. Dr. Tommy O, as well as the skating community of NYC and the metropolitan area, wishes a fond farewell to the Latizia family and the Skate Key Staff. Dr. Tommy O, ring side physician for the USABA participated in JFK Memorial Park's Club show sponsored by the Hempstead PAL. More then 200 boxing fans watched top ranked amateur boxers compete.

Dr. Tommy O, ring side physician for USABA participated the United States verses England Boxing show held at the Huntington Town House. Ten bouts were slated for the night. Team United States won more then half of the bouts. This event was supported by more then 400 boxing fans. "GO TEAM USA"
